Nov 7 - At Sea
Another sea day!
After yesterday’s excitement it was nice to kick back and enjoy an unscheduled day. We did attend the presentation on Broome with Hutch this morning, and Mary went to a talk on Shipwrecks of the Pacific this afternoon while Dorothy caught up with yesterday’s blog!
At noon today, in his daily update, Captain Lye said we may not be able to stop in Exmouth tomorrow for the same reasons we missed Margret River. Apparently his weather data is suggesting it would not be safe for the tenders to operate. So we’ll see what happens.
It’s always disappointing to not be able to get into a port. Exmouth was one that replaced Geraldton on our original itinerary. It’s a smallish port with not a lot to do, but we had booked an excursion to Tantabiddi Reef on a glass bottom boat! EEK! If we do end up getting in I must make a note to myself to go armed with ginger capsules! 😁
The entertainer tonight is Steve Larkins, with another tribute to Freddie Mercury! it promises to be - loud! LOL. It seems the entertainers are mainly from Australia and New Zealand so we have never heard of them.
Keeping our fingers crossed for tomorrow!!
🤞🤞
Hahaha “it will be loud!” I really love Freddie Mercury..he’s one of the best rock singers of all time. But you’re right - it will be loud.
